Spring to Autumn in the Garden

Every year I plant a garden. In the past, I just planted vegetables. We had a great crop of onions and banana peppers this year. The tomatoes didn’t do so well. My fault, I planted them too close to each other. The green peppers came in, but remained small. Perhaps, they were too close to each other as well. The hot weather certainly didn’t help.

Last year, I added Rose bushes. This year, a variety of flowers. We also planted some trees. It’s always bittersweet to clean up the garden in the fall, something I just worked on this week. All the flowers are gone, yet the beautiful autumn colors are finally here.
